CORO DEL MUNDO – “Choir of the World” – is one of a number of special albums recorded in Cuba and released by PARMA Recordings’ groundbreaking Ansonica Records. Its music is global in conception, execution, and impact, featuring choral works ranging from sacred to secular by 11 American and Cuban composers and performed by Cuban musicians.

Composers include: Adalberto Álvarez, L Peter Deutsch, Cynthia Folio, Guido López Gavilán, Rafael Hernández, Jay Kawarsky, José Antonio Méndez, Conrado Monier, Michael Murray, Electo Rosell, and Meira Warshauer.

Choral ensembles include Ensemble Vocal Luna conducted by Maribel Nodarse Valdés and Schola Cantorum Coralina conducted by Alina Orraca, featuring soloists David Delgado Ruíz – tenor, Karen Cruz Atín – soprano, and Joanne de la Torre Corpas – soprano. .
Musicians include Yuniet Lombida – soprano saxophone, Vilma Sofía Garriga Comas – piano, Lázaro “El Fino” Rivero – double bass, Abiel Chea Guerra – percussion, Eduardo Silveira – percussion, Flavia Méndez Pérez – clarinet, and Asaf Roth – dumbek, vibraphone & sleigh bells.

Recorded 11/17/2017 at Abdala 1 in Cuba, Havana, with Producer Dayron Ortega Guzman, Co-Producer Bob Lord, and Engineer Jose Raul Varona; released June 8, 2018.
